Sometimes MPU isn’t able to root the phone so you may need root the device externally. 



When you see the “Unable to root” message it will have a hyperlink below which will link you to our webpage which will then enable you to download an external rooting program.

  1. Please download and install Kingo Root. 
  2. Close MPU and connect the phone while Kingo Root is open
  3. Once the phone is detected click the root button to attempt to root the phone through that program.
  4. If the root succeeds then close Kingo and go back into MPU to start the unlock again.


Please remember that once the unlock is complete you will need to use Kingo Root once more to unroot the phone. 


If MPU and Kingo Root cannot root the device you will be unable to unlock the phone
