How to enter unlock codes in Sony models
It is advisable to check the lock counter before submitting a code for Sony as returned codes will not work if device counter in zero
To do this in most devices key #987654321# into the device or as below
1. Turn on the phone whithout sim card
2. Type *#*#7378423#*#*
3. Select Service info
4. Select SimLock
5. Check where is X
6. If X is on NETWORK and value is different than 0, you can unlock your phone.
7. If it is 0 unlock by code is NOT possible.
The counter is blocked.
Sony Xperia Models
1. Put in a sim card from a non accepted network
2. Turn on the phone
3. It will then request for an unlock code
4. Press the unlock code box with your finger and then the number pad will appear at the bottom of screen
5. Input the unlock code
6. Press “UNLOCK” button which is below the unlock code box on screen
Sony Older Models
1. Put a sim card in and type left * * left
The unlock menu will come up
